Our new blog series is dedicated to our talented and hardworking team!
Most of our success has been due to our people so we’re excited to introduce each one of them via 13 questions.
Next one on our list is our VP of Commercial Sales Jeff Littlejohn!
What do you do at our company?
I am a sales VP helping startups and AI driven companies of all sizes learn about Kubeflow and consider Arrikto’s Enterprise Kubeflow (EKF) for MLOps automation.
How long have you been working at Arrikto?
Since May of 2021.
What has been your favorite project so far?
We launched a Kubeflow and MLOps Workshop program about two months ago and we have had a great time meeting hundreds of people and delivering the workshop to many dozens of companies.
What do you like most about your role?
Kubeflow is a fantastic project that is growing like crazy and it’s fun to help teams do their analysis and select Kubeflow and Arrikto EKF.
What do you think is the most valuable lesson you have learned while working at Arrikto so far?
MLOps is really new to most companies, but just like DevOps made software development processes automated and predictable, MLOps will be adopted and widespread in no time.
What were you doing before working at Arrikto?
I’ve always been in sales and business development – at EMC, VMware, Docker and Styra. The common theme has been helping bring new technologies to market to modernize software. Fast forward to Arrikto where ML and AI are what makes the coolest new software so cool.
What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?
I am going to run in a few running races until I blow away my 5K personal best. I’ll have to run hundreds of hours to be able to run fast for a few minutes!
Three words to best describe you.
Competitive, but friendly
What is the one thing you can’t live without?
Let’s be honest, family and friends make the world go round.
Where’s your favorite place in the world?
On a lake, in August, in Oregon.
What is your motto?
Work hard and be smart
What is one food that you cannot resist?
It’s best to keep dark chocolate well out of my reach.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Turns out if you throw in some wind, waves and current Stand up Paddling (SUP) can be an adrenaline sport.
