What do you do at our company?
I am the Director of Education focusing on providing skills based curriculum and self service training for both our open source community as well as our enterprise EKF customers.
How long have you been working at Arrikto?
I joined on August 30th, 2021 – which happens to be my Birthday! I am thrilled to have joined Arrikto, meeting such a wonderful and talented group of hard working people is a fantastic birthday present.
What has been your favorite project so far?
Establishing our Learn Kubeflow Arrikto Academy and building our first courses Kale 101 and Katib 101. This is an incredibly important and valuable resource for everyone who is aspiring to work with and be successful with Kubeflow and the associated technologies – Kale, Katib & Rok.
What do you like most about your job?
The people I work with are amazing, they are smart and dedicated, warm and supportive, customer and community focused. Arrikto is truly a work family and everyone here takes pride in the relationships they build as much as the work that they do.
What do you think is the most valuable lesson you have learned while working at Arrikto so far?
Slow Down! All too often in start-up life we move fast because we feel like we have to. Arrikto emphasizes slowing down, documenting decisions and being very intentional and meticulous about what we produce.
What were you doing before working at Arrikto?
I’ve spent the last several years in the cloud technology space educating Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Automation Experts on deploying enterprise scale processing systems.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I started rock climbing the same day I started working at Arrikto and I love both!

What is the one thing you can’t live without?
Goldfish, I eat them every day, and I intend to keep it up.
Where’s your favorite place in the world?
New York City! I was born and bred here, I am a New Yorker and I will always be a New Yorker.
What is your motto?
There are no mistakes as long as there are lessons – learn your lesson, don’t repeat mistakes.
What is one food that you cannot resist?
Lox – I’ve been obsessed with lox since I was a child. If there are lox in front of me soon there will be no more lox in front of me.
What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?
I’ve never been to Greece and I am very excited to go visit my colleagues in person!
